Hiring Administrative Assistant for Child’s Play Charity and Penny Arcade
As an Administrative Assistant, you will apply your time management, communication, and organization skills against a myriad array of challenges. Your daily tasks will vary with the demands of multiple concurrent projects running throughout the year, primarily a multitude of tasks enabling the good work of Child’s Play Charity, in addition to your daily duties for Penny Arcade. While you will report to the Child’s Play Project Manager for the majority of your work, you will work with people throughout the entire organization. Through these efforts great and small you will meaningfully contribute to the ongoing success of Child’s Play, Penny Arcade, and PAX. This position will support both Child’s Play and Penny Arcade.
Child’s Play Role:These tasks include maintaining wishlists for partner hospitals, processing corporate matching requests, supporting remote fundraisers, grant-writing, admin tasks, and responding to email and voicemail inquiries. From time to time, you will apply yourself to physical tasks such as sorting donations, warehouse/shipping work, and supporting in-person events at fundraisers and shows.
Penny Arcade Role:You will be assisting Office Operations Manager/HR with maintaining the building/kitchen/common area (e.g. changing ceiling light bulbs/assemble/moving furniture/reorganize supplies/organizing), being in charge of answering the front door and making sure guests get where they need to go, assist preparing for company events, and assist with any other light admin activities that may not be listed.
